Overview Join Bandit Towing & Transport's team as a Full-Time Rollback Operator and become a vital part of our towing and vehicle recovery operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading vehicles using specialized rollback trucks and high-end equipment. Your goal is to ensure efficient, safe, and professional services to uphold our high community standing known for providing high-quality and reliable towing & customer service. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, work well on a team, and enjoy hands-on work, this is the perfect opportunity to accelerate or launch your career! •This is a Monday through Friday role; hours and scheduling may be flexible for the right candidate. Must be available to work 40 hours per week and the occasional weekend or evening shift. •Candidates must be located within 30 minutes of the Apex & Cary area for police rotation calls. Responsibilities Operate rollback trucks to recover, load, secure, and transport vehicles safely following cargo securement protocols Perform roadside assistance such as battery charge, lockouts, gas deliveries Manage towing operations efficiently while maintaining compliance with safety standards and procedures related to cargo securement protocols, safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks, and driving regulations for commercial truck driving Utilize the TowBooks app as instructed Assist customers, police, and other officials professionally, providing excellent customer service to ensure our company is a bright spot in their day Work as a collaborative team member communicating timelines, whereabouts, and call status with dispatcher and other teammates Arrive onsite for pre-scheduled jobs by your shift's start time Inspect assigned rollback truck before each shift, check supplies and, equipment to make sure everything is in good working order and replace or repair items Maintain a clean truck interior and exterior Dress in appropriate gear and appear presentable and cleanly Required Skills & Experience Must be at least 25 years and 6 months of age and able to lift 50 lbs Must have a clean driving record (small infractions are not a deal breaker) and be drug free Must have a ready to-learn-attitude and ability to follow instructional training and company protocals. Don't have experience driving or operating a tow truck? Don't worry, we will teach you! Knowledge of basic vehicle mechanics Customer service experience Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally Ability to drive safely over long distances while adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards Bonus Experience Familiarity with cargo securement protocols, vehicle recovery towing, and safe vehicle loading procedures Mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics and minor mechanical vehicle repair skills Commercial driving experience with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Experience with manual transmission vehicles, motorcycles, and heavy equipment Perks Salary based pay with commission opportunities Paid-time-off and holidays Health insurance options Retirement plans after 3 years of employement Opportunities to grow A chance to work with a highly efficient and experienced team!
