Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Dump Truck Driver working the night shift! In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of our excavation and grading operations, transporting materials efficiently and safely across construction sites. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and commitment to safety will drive project success, ensuring timely deliveries and smooth site progress. Duties Operate dump trucks and other heavy construction machinery following all safety regulations and operational procedures Transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and debris to and from construction sites with precision and care Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Assist with construction utility work, including utility locating and site grading tasks when needed Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate loading, unloading, and delivery schedules efficiently Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment Support excavation activities by operating loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery as required Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving within construction or similar environments Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining heavy equipment such as Caterpillar loaders or excavators Skilled in construction utility work including utility locating and site grading techniques Strong understanding of federal safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites Ability to operate loaders, excavators, backhoes, and other construction machinery confidently Knowledge of excavation processes, construction site safety protocols, and equipment maintenance practices Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring safety compliance at all times This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute their heavy equipment expertise in a fast-moving construction setting.
