Badger Daylighting is hiring Industrial Operators in Spartanburg, SC to support hydrovac excavation and industrial services for construction and utility customers. In this hands-on field role, you will safely operate and assist with hydrovac and related industrial equipment, exposing underground utilities and infrastructure without damage. Responsibilities include following strict safety and regulatory procedures, completing basic equipment checks, supporting daily setup and cleanup, and working closely with crew members and site contacts. Responsibilities Operate and support hydrovac and industrial equipment on construction and industrial sites Safely daylight and expose underground utilities and infrastructure Follow all safety, DOT, and site-specific regulations and procedures Assist with equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and daily setup/teardown Complete required paperwork, logs, and job reports accurately Work closely with crew members, supervisors, and customers on site Travel to local and regional job sites as required Participate in ongoing safety and skills training Required Skills Hydrovac or vacuum truck operation Construction or industrial field operations OSHA and job-site safety practices Underground utility locating awareness Basic mechanical/equipment inspection DOT and driving compliance awareness Lockout/tagout and confined space awareness Job documentation and reporting Use of hand and power tools Communication with field crews and site contacts
