Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Your expertise in driving and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across designated routes. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Manage route driving responsibilities with precision to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols. Handle various types of freight including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and other specialized cargo with care and attention to detail. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered during transit. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with various vehicle types such as flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently. Familiarity with freight handling procedures for different cargo types including load & unload operations. Experience driving tractor-trailers and managing complex routes efficiently. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo securement standards. Skills in operating auxiliary equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks are a plus. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and customer service.
