The company coordinates air, ocean, and ground transportation along with warehousing, crossdock services, and other value-added logistics solutions for its customers. The Opportunity We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL-A Short Haul Driver for an immediate opening. This position transports non-hazardous freight between warehouses, crossdock facilities, distribution centers, and customer locations. Routes are local or regional and are generally completed within the same day, allowing drivers to return home after each shift. The longest anticipated route may include the port in Jacksonville, Florida, when it can be completed within applicable driving-hour limits. What You Will Do

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely on local and regional short-haul routes.
• Transport non-hazardous freight between warehouses, crossdock facilities, distribution centers, and customer sites.
• Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load, secure, and unload freight as required using safe material-handling practices.
• Maintain accurate DOT logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, warehouse teams, customers, and logistics coordinators.
• Report delays, accidents, equipment concerns, or vehicle defects promptly.
• Keep assigned equipment clean and support crossdock operations when needed. What We Are Looking For
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL-A).
• At least 1 to 2 years of recent, verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred.
• Clean driving record that meets DOT and company requirements.
• Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and safe-driving practices.
• Ability to operate manual and/or automatic transmission equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds and perform standing, walking, and repetitive tasks.
• Strong safety awareness, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Crossdock, local freight, regional freight, or port experience is a plus. Why Join Us

Schedule and Work Environment This is a full-time, in-person position in a fast-paced warehouse and crossdock environment. Drivers may encounter varying temperatures, noise, machinery, and occasional overtime during peak periods or urgent shipments.
