Carolina Carports, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of metal buildings and steel structures, providing high quality buildings to customers across the country. Our team manufactures and delivers a wide range of metal building components, and we are looking for a dependable Truck Driver to join our team at our North Carolina location.

Location:

Carolina Carports - NC Headquarters Division 187 Cardinal Ridge Trail Dobson, NC 27017 Position Summary The Truck Driver will be responsible for safely transporting steel materials and metal building components from our Dobson, NC facility to various locations. This position will primarily involve operating a flatbed truck and hauling materials such as steel coils, metal building components, and other related materials. Drivers will regularly travel from our North Carolina facility in Dobson to our other six manufacturing plants, located in Texas, Mississippi, Missouri, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. Responsibilities Operate a flatbed truck to transport steel coils and metal building components. Safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials. Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after trips. Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures. Maintain accurate delivery and mileage records. Communicate with dispatch and company personnel regarding deliveries. Keep the truck and equipment clean and properly maintained. Represent Carolina Carports professionally while on the road. Pay $0.60 per mile Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Clean driving record. Experience operating a flatbed truck preferred. Ability to properly secure and handle loads. Dependable, safety-focused, and willing to travel. Ability to perform physical duties associated with loading and securing cargo.
