Overview Deliver/stock/merchandise beer products to area supermarkets, convenience stores, bars, restaurants, etc. for a local wholesaler in the Asheville/Hendersonville/Brevard, NC area. There is no travel associated with this job; you are at home every night and off every weekend. Represent national and local beer brands. A CDL is NOT required but all applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and DOT physical . All applicants must be able to provide a clean criminal background check and a clean driving record. Work is Monday through Friday, generally 5:30 AM to 3 PM. Job is hard, physical work and involves repetitive lifting/moving product. Starting salary as a "trainee" is $800 (potentially $900 after a few months). We provide the training and testing for your Class A CDL . Average annual salary after being placed on a permanent delivery route is $63,000 working 4 days (Tuesday-Friday)...usually after 9 months to 1 year. Eligible for benefits package including excellent, low cost health/dental/retirement insurance/benefits after 90 days on the job. Retirement plan is 100% company funded.
