We are seeking a reliable, professional, and compassionate Substance Abuse Program Driver to join our Laurinburg team. This position will provide safe and dependable transportation for individuals participating in ACS substance use treatment programs in Laurinburg and surrounding areas. Previous professional driving or client transportation experience is preferred.

Provided for authorized client transportation No personal vehicle required for client transportation What You'll Do As a Program Driver at ACS, you'll: Safely transport clients to and from scheduled substance use treatment services. Follow assigned transportation routes, pickup times, and drop-off schedules. Operate an ACS company vehicle safely and responsibly. Maintain a professional, respectful, and compassionate demeanor with clients. Complete required transportation logs and other assigned documentation accurately. Maintain the cleanliness and general appearance of the company vehicle. Promptly report vehicle concerns, accidents, incidents, delays, or transportation issues to management. Protect client confidentiality and follow all ACS privacy and safety requirements. Communicate professionally with ACS staff regarding transportation schedules and client transportation needs. You must:

Have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check. Be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. Be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. Have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Be comfortable working with individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment services. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and client confidentiality. Follow all traffic laws and ACS vehicle and transportation policies. Treat every client with dignity, patience, and respect. Preferred Qualifications Previous professional driving or transportation experience. Previous experience transporting clients, patients, seniors, students, or individuals receiving community-based services. Experience working in behavioral health, healthcare, human services, non-emergency medical transportation, or a related environment. Familiarity with Laurinburg, Scotland County, and surrounding communities. Why Join ACS?
