Handled Now is hiring Class A CDL regional drivers in Lexington, North Carolina, delivering windows, screens, hardware, and patio doors across the Southeast and Midwest. Run a sleeper tractor with a 53' dry van on a Sunday through Friday schedule. We have 5 openings available now. Job Details

• Average pay: $1,800 to $2,000 per week ($0.56/mile, $21/stop, $21 drop & hook, plus $65/night layover pay for 3 to 5 nights out per week)

Schedule:

Dispatch starts Sunday at 8:00 AM. Sunday shift runs 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM; Monday through Friday shifts run 4 AM to 5 PM. Most drivers return Friday afternoon or early evening, typically completing two loads per week

Freight:

Touch freight, windows and doors. Floor-loaded and strapped freight; tailgate items up to 250 lbs to the rear of the trailer for customer handoff, and slide windows and doors from inside the trailer to the back door. Multi-stop loads; verify piece count at each stop and report any overage, shortage, or damage right away

• Delivery locations: Docks and parking lots; must be able to maneuver safely in congested lots
• License requirement: No automatic transmission restriction on your CDL

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Current Class A CDL from your state of residence, with no automatic transmission restriction
• Minimum one year of relevant Class A commercial driving experience
• Comfortable with touch freight and tailgate deliveries up to 250 lbs
• Acceptable references from past employers
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications Dress Code & Safety Gear Pants and an appropriate work shirt or shirt with sleeves.

All clothing should be clean, in good condition, and suitable for a warehouse/industrial work environment. Clothing displaying offensive, inappropriate, discriminatory, or unsafe language, graphics, or imagery is not permitted.

Footwear:
