CDL CLASS A MULTI-SKILL DRIVER

(DURHAM AREA)

Starting Pay:

$22.00/Hour — DOE (Depends on Experience) Looking for a driving position where you're more than just a truck number? We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded CDL Class A Driver who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and is ready. to be part of a team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who is flexible, reliable, and comfortable taking on different transportation assignments . You'll play an important role in safely moving freight, serving customers, and helping keep daily operations moving.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Safely operate CDL Class A tractor-trailers, primarily dry van equipment. Operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Transport and deliver freight safely and efficiently. Load, unload, and properly secure cargo. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Monitor brakes, tires, lights, fluid levels, cargo securement, and other safety items. Accurately complete driver logs, DVIRs, trip reports, and required documentation. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while meeting scheduled delivery times. Follow all DOT regulations, Hours of Service requirements, company policies, and applicable traffic laws. Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, vendors, and team members. Keep your truck clean and organized. Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Assist with different transportation assignments and equipment as business needs require. Represent our Company professionally while providing excellent customer service. Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING

Valid CDL Class A License . Clean and acceptable driving record. Commercial driving experience preferred. Dry van experience required. Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission trucks. Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements. Ability to safely load, unload, and secure freight. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Effective communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to adapt to changing schedules, routes, and assignments. HOME DAILY

This is primarily a local, home-daily position , with occasional overnight travel based on customer and business needs.
