Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking a safety-focused Regional Class A Van Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics operations. In this role, you will safely operate Class A dry van equipment on regional routes, transporting materials and environmental loads between customer sites and company facilities. You will conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections, ensure DOT and HazMat compliance, maintain accurate logs and manifests, and uphold strict safety and environmental standards. You'll represent Clean Harbors with professionalism, collaborate with dispatch and terminal teams, and contribute to our mission of environmental protection and sustainable operations. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A dry van on regional routes Transport materials between customer sites and company facilities Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections Comply with DOT, company, and safety regulations at all times Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and trip documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch and terminal operations Ensure proper load securement and basic cargo checks Follow environmental and hazardous material handling procedures as required Report vehicle issues, incidents, or safety concerns immediately Represent Clean Harbors professionally with customers and the public Required Skills Class A commercial driving Dry van operation Defensive driving DOT compliance and regulations Electronic logging systems (ELDs) Hazardous materials handling basics Vehicle inspection and maintenance checks Route planning and time management Load securement Paperwork and manifest accuracy
