Job Description

Summary As a Heavy Wrecker Operator and Heavy Tow Truck Driver with a CDL Class A, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and providing roadside assistance. This role requires core skills in driving and tow truck operation, along with skills in mechanical knowledge. You will utilize your conflict management abilities while interacting with customers and ensuring their needs are met. Join our team to make a significant impact in the field of vehicle recovery and transportation. Responsibilities Operate heavy wrecker to tow semi trucks and trailers Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload vehicles using proper techniques and equipment. Provide excellent customer service while assisting clients in distress. Manage conflicts and communicate effectively with customers and team members. Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle conditions, and repairs performed. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license Be able to drive a manual Need to live in Mt Airy or the general area Will need to pass a background check and drug test. Previous experience in driving and operating heavy tow trucks is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge Previous experience in a mechanic role is a plus
