Experienced drivers preferred Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, professional, dependable, and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to operate our company box truck for local, regional, and long-distance deliveries. The ideal candidate has experience transporting various types of freight, is comfortable spending extended periods on the road, and understands the importance of protecting the vehicle, cargo, and customer relationships. This position is ideal for a driver who takes pride in their work, is dependable, communicates well, and can work independently with minimal supervision. Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a company box truck for local and long-distance routes.
• Transport, load, unload, and deliver freight safely and efficiently.
• Properly secure cargo to prevent shifting, damage, or loss during transportation.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all applicable DOT, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, bills of lading, receipts, and other required documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, warehouses, and receiving locations.
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, delivery instructions, and pickup requirements.
• Safely handle freight and assist with loading/unloading when required.
• Keep the truck clean, organized, and in good operating condition.
• Immediately report accidents, vehicle problems, delays, cargo damage, or other issues.
• Be prepared for extended OTR assignments of approximately 1-2 weeks away from home.
• Demonstrate professionalism and represent the company positively at all times.
• Maintain reliable communication while on the road.
• Work independently and make responsible decisions while traveling. Qualifications
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional box truck driving experience preferred.
• Proven experience transporting and securing different types of freight.
• Experience with long-distance or OTR driving strongly preferred.
• Must be comfortable being away from home for approximately two weeks at a time.
• Valid driver's license with a clean and acceptable driving record.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Must be able to safely operate a box truck for extended periods.
• Ability to load, unload, and move freight when necessary.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to use GPS/navigation and follow directions.
• Ability to complete required delivery documentation accurately.
• Must be able to pass any required background check and/or motor vehicle record check.
• Must have reliable communication while working.
• Must be professional, respectful, and responsible with company equipment and customer property. Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience with freight, logistics, moving, furniture, appliances, construction materials, or other commercial deliveries.
• Experience using a dolly, pallet jack, liftgate, straps, and other cargo-handling equipment.
• Experience with multi-state routes.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe cargo securement.
