In this position, you will operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, adherence to safety regulations, and exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, across over-the-road (OTR) routes while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load, secure, transport general cargo with precision and care Navigate using GPS systems to follow optimized routes for timely deliveries and efficient route management Handle automobile transportation tasks. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations Perform routine vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate delivery schedules, manage freight loads, and optimize route planning Skills Valid CDL A license with 2 years clean driving record; experience preferred. Strong knowledge of truck driving safety protocols and hazardous materials regulations Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized tractor-trailers Proficiency in GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments Skilled in load & unload procedures, truck loading/unloading techniques, and cargo handling logistics Familiarity with DOT regulations regarding driver hours of service and safety standards Excellent driving skills with a focus on safe maneuvering of large commercial vehicles on diverse routes Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise drives success!
