Job Description
Job Summary Boone & Grandson Enterprises LLC is seeking an experienced, dependable, and professional Class A CDL Driver to join our team. This position requires a driver who understands that trucking involves more than driving. Patience is essential , as wait times may occur while being loaded or unloaded at mills and other facilities. Drivers must remain professional, follow instructions, and maintain a dependable work schedule. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 4 years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Must be prepared to provide a current MVR if offered the position Must be at your designated truck location and ready to begin work by 4:00 AM each scheduled workday — no exceptions Work schedule Monday-Friday unless servre weather Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance Must follow all company policies, safety procedures, dispatch instructions, and job-site requirements Must have steel toe boots Must demonstrate patience and professionalism during loading and unloading wait times at mills Must have reliable transportation to and from the designated truck location Must communicate professionally with management, dispatch, customers, and facility personnel Must properly complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Must be able to begin employment without any known interruptions, scheduling conflicts, appointments, or other commitments that would prevent consistent work during the first 30 days Anticipated Start Date The position is expected to begin approximately two weeks from September 9, 2026 (around September 23, 2026). However, the position may begin sooner once all required documentation, MVR, and employment requirements have been successfully verified. We are seeking a driver who understands that dependability, punctuality, patience, safety, and communication are essential to this position.
