Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving conditions and be proficient in operating different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely while adhering to all regulations and company policies. Duties Operate a variety of trucks, including van trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, straight trucks, lowboy, and roll-off trucks. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and compliant with regulations. Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of goods. Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation. Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues that may arise during transport. Skills Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles. Knowledge of flatbed trucking procedures and safety protocols. Strong truck driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Understanding of freight handling techniques to ensure safe transport. Capable of route driving with excellent navigation skills.
