Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across diverse routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load, secure, and transport flatbed loads. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transit times Transport automobiles and other specialty cargo with precision and care, ensuring vehicle safety during loading and unloading processes Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking load security, fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and compliance with hazardous materials regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, inspection reports, and incident reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations Collaborate with dispatch teams to coordinate route planning and delivery schedules while providing excellent customer service upon delivery Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license Flatbed experience preferred, training available if not. Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck loading/unloading and manual handling Skilled in route driving using GPS navigation tools to ensure timely deliveries across diverse terrains and routes Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently while maintaining control during complex maneuvers Experience with freight handling including load & unload procedures for various cargo types such as hazardous goods or temperature-sensitive items Excellent driving record demonstrating safe driving habits over long distances on OTR routes Capable of managing logistics cargo handling tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards for dangerous goods transportation Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills power our logistics operations!
