Route Driver - Appliance Installation Specialist -
Direct Hire Pay:
$21/hour + overtime opportunities
Job Type:
Full-Time, Direct Hire Schedule:
Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime/weekend work We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Route Driver / Installation Specialist for a direct-hire opportunity. This is a hands-on position that spends a significant portion of the day driving a company vehicle to customer locations to deliver, install, service and pick up washers and dryers. If you enjoy being on the road, working independently and doing something different each day, this could be a great opportunity! What You'll DoSafely drive a company vehicle on an assigned daily routeLoad equipment and prepare the truck for scheduled deliveries and pickupsDeliver, install and test washers and dryers at customer locationsRemove old equipment and return it to the warehousePerform minor repairs and troubleshoot basic equipment issuesMaintain accurate delivery, pickup and service documentationKeep the vehicle stocked with necessary installation parts and suppliesMaintain and report on vehicle condition and inventoryProvide friendly, professional service to customers, property managers and maintenance teamsFollow company driving, DOT and safety requirementsWhat We're Looking ForValid driver's license and excellent driving recordComfortable driving for extended periods and in varying weather conditionsWilling and able to obtain/maintain required DOT certificationBasic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand toolsBasic wiring knowledge and ability to read diagrams preferredDependable, organized and comfortable working independentlyStrong customer service and communication skillsAble to safely maneuver appliances and equipment using appropriate equipmentHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to pass required background check and drug screeningGas-line installation certification is a plusThis is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity with overtime available.
