Commercial Drivers License Driver

Weldon Steel is seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver to join our team. This full-time position offers competitive pay, consistent work, and the opportunity to play a critical role in delivering structural steel to commercial and industrial job sites. As a CDL Driver, you will transport fabricated structural steel from our shop to project sites using flatbed trailers and other company vehicles. This position requires strong attention to safety, ability to properly secure loads, and professionalism when interacting with customers, contractors, and job site personnel.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate company trucks and trailers to deliver structural steel Properly secure loads in compliance with DOT regulations Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Coordinate with shipping, production, and project teams to ensure on-time deliveries Assist with loading and unloading as needed Maintain accurate delivery documentation

Qualifications:

Valid CDL (Class A preferred) Clean driving record Experience hauling flatbed loads (steel hauling experience preferred) Knowledge of load securement and DOT requirements Strong work ethic and commitment to safety Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime
