CDL Residential Driver Keep Our Communities Beautiful! Join GFL as a CDL Residential Driver!
Position Type:
Full-Time, Regular Schedule:
40 hours/week About the Role If you enjoy being out in the community, staying active, and driving heavy-duty automated or side-load equipment, this is the job for you! GFL Environmental is looking for a CDL Residential Driver to join our team. You'll serve as a frontline hero in our neighborhood streets, ensuring local communities stay clean, safe, and green.
What You'll Be Doing Neighborhood Service:
Drive automated or side-load residential collection trucks through assigned neighborhood routes.
Smart Operation:
Safely operate hydraulic mechanisms to lift, dump, and return residential waste and recycling carts.
Community Champion:
Wave to neighbors, represent GFL with a friendly attitude, and keep residential streets clean and safe.
Safety & Maintenance:
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety checks to ensure your rig is in top shape.
What We're Looking For Credentials:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B).
Experience:
1+ years of CDL driving experience (residential route experience is a plus!).
Physical Fitness:
Ability to step in and out of the cab frequently and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
