Job Description

Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking a Class B CDL Route Driver to safely transport used oil, waste, and related environmental materials for collection, recycling, and disposal. In this Transportation & Logistics role, you will operate vacuum and box trucks on scheduled routes, perform safe loading/unloading, complete DOT and company paperwork, and ensure regulatory and customer compliance. You'll inspect and maintain vehicles, follow strict safety and environmental procedures, and provide professional service to industrial, automotive, and commercial customers while supporting sustainable waste management programs and long-term career growth. Responsibilities Operate Class B CDL vacuum and box trucks on assigned routes Safely load, transport, and unload used oil and environmental waste Perform required pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate DOT logs, manifests, and company paperwork Follow all DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company safety procedures Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch Report equipment issues and coordinate basic maintenance Adhere to route schedules while meeting service standards Use material handling equipment and PPE correctly Support a safety-first, environmentally responsible culture Required Skills Class B CDL truck operation Route driving and time management Defensive and safe driving practices Hazardous waste/materials handling Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations Use of electronic logging devices (ELDs) Load securement and material handling Completion of manifests and DOT paperwork Customer service and communication
