Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, managing truck loading and unloading, and ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies. Transport goods to designated locations efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securement of freight. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and machinery to identify any maintenance or safety issues. Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance logs. Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures during transportation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the route. Assist with truck loading and unloading processes when necessary, ensuring proper handling of cargo. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Proven experience as a CDL Truck Driver preferred; strong knowledge of DOT regulations is essential. Ability to operate trucks safely under various road conditions. Physical ability to load and unload cargo as needed. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and record-keeping.
