DAY TO DAY AS A CLASS A DRIVER
As a Class A Driver at Brown-Wilbert Inc, you play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of pre-cast concrete products to our valued customers. You'll seamlessly load vehicles with the necessary materials and navigate your Boom Truck to various sites. Upon arrival, your respectful demeanor shines as you assist in setting up and taking down gravesites at cemeteries, providing comfort during sensitive times or you may be assigned to deliver a septic tank to a contractor. We do both! Your role is not just about driving; it's about making a difference. Whether you're operating the boom or collaborating with the team, each day brings a blend of responsibility and meaningful work. Mechanical and equipment handling skills are crucial, including crane operation and rigging, as well as truck maintenance to keep your Boom Truck in top shape. Safe driving is paramount, so a clean record and compliance with DOT standards are non-negotiable. Physical endurance will help you manage the demands of loading and transporting materials, while attention to detail will ensure precision during setups. Reliability and professionalism are equally important, including maintaining consistent attendance, arriving on time each day, and being ready to work safely and efficiently as part of the team. Lastly, possessing a valid Class A Driver's License and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test are essential for success in this role.
