Driver Services Assistant Location:
Mapleton, ND Employment Type:
Full-Time Join Our Team! We are seeking a dependable, organized, and service-oriented Driver Services Assistant to support our drivers, maintain company facilities, and assist with onboarding and vehicle readiness. This role is critical in creating a welcoming experience for new drivers while helping ensure our trucks, facilities, and equipment are maintained to company standards. Key Responsibilities Driver Support & Orientation
  • Prepare trucks and welcome materials for new driver orientation.
  • Ensure vehicles are properly equipped and ready for incoming drivers.
  • Prepare orientation materials and assist with onboarding activities.
  • Coordinate driver accommodations and ensure rooms are clean and ready.
  • Provide transportation assistance for drivers as needed. Vehicle & Equipment Management
  • Assist with truck check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Verify issued equipment and supplies are properly documented.
  • Report vehicle damage and maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain permit books, tablet inventory, and other driver equipment.
  • Update truck records and related tracking systems. Facility & Hospitality Services
  • Prepare food and refreshments for drivers.
  • Keep the driver lounge, kitchen, and common areas clean and organized.
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms and laundry facilities.
  • Assist with company meals, events, and special functions.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout office and shop areas. Administrative Support
  • Process and maintain driver and vehicle documentation.
  • Scan, file, and distribute records as required.
  • Maintain driver boards, mileage records, and inventory tracking.
  • Communicate with internal departments regarding missing items, cleaning invoices, and other operational needs. General Maintenance
  • Assist with vehicle detailing and cleaning.
  • Help maintain company grounds and outdoor areas.
  • Support facility upkeep projects as assigned. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic computer and administrative skills.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
