Job Description
Overview Small, but growing trucking company in the south-east Bakken Area is looking for a self motivated CDL licensed driver with clean driving record that can work within a 60 mile radius from the New Town area where the company has a shop. The company actively seeks work using vacuum trailers, belly dumps, and side dumps. It has a strong relationship with a local oil company. At first you will be doing belly dump operations but come Fall we will switch to oilfield service work for soon to come oil pad building, drilling operations, flowback, and fresh water treatments on gas-lift and ESP wells. If you have a Hazmat certification there will also be some possible oil hauling duties. Duties and Licenses Safely operate a commercial tractor trailer truck with vacuum trailer, oil trailer, belly dump, and possible side dump. Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks comfortably Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly. RequirementsValid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of trailer being pulled/operated (e.g., hazmat endorsement if applicable). Prefer experience in commercial truck driving, oilfield operations or road and/or oil pad building. Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures. Strong driving record with a focus on safety; ability to handle hazardous goods responsibly when transporting potentially dangerous liquids. Physical stamina to handle manual handling tasks and possible long hours on the road or in the field; flexibility to adapt to varying schedules.
