Job Overview POD Logistics is hiring a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver in Grand Island, Hastings or Freemont, NE to go back and forth between Grand Island & Freemont for a Dedicated customer. This is a home-daily, Monday-Friday position , typically 10-12 hours per day . Responsibilities Safely operate a tractor-trailer while hauling intermodal containers in the Omaha area Pick up and deliver containers to rail yards and customer locations Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs Complete required electronic documentation and updates using company systems Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, or issues Follow
