Position:
Side Dump (Tractor Trailer) Marsh Creek Carriers is seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL A Driver to support daily delivery operations. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in being on time, operating safely, and delivering strong service to customers and job sites. Position Summary The CDL A Driver will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently, completing pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate delivery records, and representing Marsh Creek Carriers professionally in the field. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and a commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all DOT, state, and company regulations Transport concrete or related materials to customer and job sites on schedule Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly Maintain delivery documentation, logs, and other required records accurately Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers regarding delivery timing and site conditions Load, secure, transport, and unload materials in accordance with company procedures Monitor vehicle condition and ensure cleanliness and safe operation at all times Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies Provide professional, courteous service at customer locations Support yard, plant, or general operations as needed Required Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license Acceptable driving record and current DOT medical card Ability to pass required background screening, drug screening, and any applicable compliance checks Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial driving safety standards Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and in varying weather conditions Strong attendance, punctuality, and dependability Excellent communication and time management skills Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in concrete, construction, building materials, or heavy haul delivery Familiarity with local routes, job site deliveries, and construction safety practices Experience performing routine vehicle inspections and identifying maintenance concerns What Success Looks Like Safe, compliant driving with a strong focus on protecting people, equipment, and product On-time deliveries and clear communication with internal teams and customers Accurate paperwork and consistent adherence to operational procedures Professional representation of Marsh Creek Carriers on every route Work Environment Frequent driving, entering and exiting commercial vehicles, and working outdoors May involve lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of sitting or standing Schedule may include early mornings, overtime, and seasonal workload fluctuations Why Join Marsh Creek Carriers Stable opportunity with a respected concrete operation Hands-on, team-oriented environment Meaningful role supporting customers and projects that keep communities growing
