Job Description

Looking for a self-motivated individual that throughout the day will almost continuously wash trucks and trailers. As a food distributor, ensuring the sanitation of inside the trailers for the next load is critical for food safety, and a clean exterior helps with promoting the company. You will work in a fast-paced yard with a short turnaround time for getting Trucks and Trailers ready to go back on the road and have the opportunity for overtime as well!
Work Hours:
Sun-Thurs 6pm-5am (general schedule)
Wage:
$17/hr Job Duties & Responsibilities Wash Bay Duties (Primary Focus) Washing out trailers Wash tractors and trailers Wash any parts needed for repairs Act as back-up shag driver when needed Fuel Driver Duties (Secondary Duties) Drive trucks and trailers to and from the Fuel Island in a safe and efficient manner, to include both manual and automatic transmissions Fuel trucks and trailers Review trucks/trailers for repair needs and document such needs Thoroughly and accurately perform all required record keeping, most of which is done electronically Park in correct location when completed
Physical & Environmental Aspects:
The ability to frequently crawl in/out of trucks and trailers Exposure to extreme weather conditions at times
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Able to work independently Reliable Some computer experience required Able to drive an automatic and manual transmission in heavy duty trucks CDL license preferred
Required Education:
High school or equivalent
