Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Truck Driver! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting construction equipment and aggregates between jobsites, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers(lowboy trailers, and sidedumpr trailers) adhering to all safety standards and regulations. Safely load and unload Navigate routes efficiently Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules during all operations. Load and secure freight properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking manual transmissions, brake systems, lights, tires, and safety equipment. Communicate effectively with management and crew foremen Home most nights, will require occassional overnight stays. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving Familiarity with construction equipment is preferred. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the equipment operated; experience with manual transmission. Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and safety standards for tractor-trailer operations.
