Job Description

The Class A CDL Feed Mill Driver/Operator is responsible for safely mixing, managing, and delivering feed rations to designated farm locations. This role requires a valid Class A CDL, mechanical aptitude, and the physical ability to work in a demanding agricultural environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Feed Production:
Mix specific feed rations according to the mill manager's instructions and accurately assign ingredients and complete orders to the correct bins.
Logistics & Delivery:
Safely operate, transport, and deliver feed across multiple farm locations.
Maintenance & Repair:
Monitor general mill operations and perform minor to major mechanical repairs on trucks, tractors, and facility equipment.
Inventory & Records:
Keep highly accurate inventory logs and operational records.
Cleaning:
Maintain high sanitation standards by keeping the mill and office area clean.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety policies. Report any issues that could affect feed safety, food quality, or worker safety.
Job Requirements & Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
License:
Valid Nebraska Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Skills:
Basic math skills (calculating proportions, percentages, discounts) and the ability to read/interpret safety rules and technical manuals.
Physical & Environmental Demands Heights & Agility:
Ability to climb ladders and stairs up to a height of 80 feet.
Heavy Lifting:
Ability to frequently lift and carry 10 to 70 lbs, and occasionally lift/carry up to 100 lbs.
Environment:
Must be comfortable working continuously in hot and cold outdoor weather conditions, and sometimes dusty conditions.
Machinery:
Frequent operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, tractors, payloaders, and skid loaders around moving machinery. Benefits $2,500 Sign-on Bonus Weekly Pay! Direct Deposit Available.
