This is a full-time salaried position that requires drivers to be comfortable spending multiple weeks away from home at a time . Drivers will operate a truck equipped with a sleeper cab for extended OTR trips and overnight stays while on the road . We are looking for a dependable, professional driver who understands that safe driving, communication, and on-time pickup and delivery are critical . Duties Operate a Class A semi-truck safely and professionally Haul freight on OTR / long-distance routes Primarily pull 53-foot trailers Operate and maintain a sleeper-cab tractor during extended trips Meet scheduled pickup and delivery appointment times Communicate promptly regarding traffic, weather, delays, or other issues affecting delivery Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and required paperwork Follow DOT regulations, Hours-of-Service requirements, and company safety procedures Inspect equipment and freight as required Maintain assigned equipment in clean, professional condition Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, shippers, and receivers Requirements Valid CDL Class A required Previous CDL Class A driving experience required Experience with 53' trailers required or strongly preferred OTR driving experience preferred Must be comfortable being away from home for several weeks at a time Must be comfortable utilizing the sleeper cab for overnight stays while on the road Safe driving record Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours-of-Service requirements Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage routes and schedules responsibly Reliability & Timeliness Punctuality is extremely important in this position. Our customers depend on scheduled pickup and delivery times. Drivers must be reliable, plan routes appropriately, take appointment times seriously, and communicate immediately if an unavoidable delay occurs. We are looking for someone who takes pride in being a professional driver and understands the responsibility that comes with moving freight safely and on schedule.
