Job Description
Overview Now is the time to join our dynamic team as a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver. Commonwealth is transitioning from an Amazon DSP to an Amazon Relay TSP and we are looking for qualified and safe drivers to be part of an exciting growth period for our company. In this role you will be driving a brand new 26' Box Truck with lift gates, delivering essential goods efficiently and safely across designated routes. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to be the backbone of our delivery operations, ensuring timely and professional service to our customers. We are committed to providing a supportive work environment where safety, customer service, and teamwork are at the forefront of everything we do. Duties Safely operate a 26-foot box truck in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Manage route driving efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups across assigned locations. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with maintenance standards. Handle warehouse operations including material handling, inventory checks, and organizing shipments for smooth dispatch. Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages professionally, answering questions politely, and addressing any delivery concerns. Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch teams throughout your shift. Ensure timely arrivals for pick-ups and deliveries.
