Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver /equipment operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting equipment safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of trailers, including flatbed, gooseneck , tag trailers . driver will also need to run equipment and work as part of the team on site . this is not just a driving position Duties Operate a tractor-trailer to transport freight over designated routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts , loaders , skid steerswhen necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance. Work on site with the team to perform various task . Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining the integrity of the freight. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Proven experience in route driving with a strong understanding of logistics. Familiarity with flatbed and tag and gooseneck operations is preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment for loading and unloading cargo. Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
