Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, caring, and flexible Part-Time Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with children of various ages and assisting in multiple classrooms as needed, including infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. Responsibilities
  • Assist lead teachers with daily classroom routines and activities.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
  • Supervise and interact appropriately with children throughout the day.
  • Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, nap time, and transitions as needed.
  • Support age-appropriate learning activities and classroom experiences.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environment.
  • Follow all center policies, procedures, and applicable licensing regulations.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families, and staff.
  • Provide classroom coverage and assist in different classrooms based on the needs of the center.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure consistent care and supervision. Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively with children of different ages and developmental levels.
  • Dependable, responsible, patient, and professional.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Ability to adapt to changing classroom needs and work as part of a team Schedule and Compensation This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule.
The successful candidate must be willing to work in multiple classrooms as needed to support staffing and classroom coverage.
Pay:
$15.00
