Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting equipment and material safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires experience with various types of trucks, including Lowbed , Dump truck and tagalong trailers. A strong commitment to safety and the ability to navigate diverse routes are essential. Duties Operate and drive different types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules. Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered on the road. Utilize manual transmission when required and demonstrate proficiency in operating equipment for loading/unloading tasks. Experience Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with commercial driving licenses (CDL). Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Experience driving lowbed, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized vehicles is a plus. Previous delivery driver experience is highly valued. Knowledge of freight handling and route driving best practices. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts is advantageous.
