Cherry Hill, NJ Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $27 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications CDL DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Full Job Description Automatic & Manual Drivers Mireku & Son is seeking dependable and safety-conscious Dump Truck Drivers to support our asphalt paving, milling, and construction operations. We are looking for drivers who are comfortable operating automatic and/or manual commercial vehicles , with tri-axle dump truck experience strongly preferred .
RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operate tri-axle dump trucks and other assigned commercial vehicles. Transport asphalt, millings, stone, aggregate, dirt, and other construction materials. Haul materials to and from paving, milling, construction, and disposal sites. Safely position trucks for loading and unloading. Communicate effectively with paving crews, equipment operators, supervisors, and plant personnel. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Monitor vehicle condition and promptly report mechanical or safety concerns. Maintain required driving and vehicle documentation. Keep assigned trucks reasonably clean and properly cared for. Follow company procedures and all applicable DOT and job-site safety requirements. Assist with reasonable job-site duties when required. Maintain reliable attendance and report to scheduled jobs on time.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle being operated. Acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate automatic commercial vehicles. Manual-transmission experience preferred for drivers assigned to manual trucks. Previous tri-axle dump truck experience strongly preferred. Asphalt, paving, milling, aggregate, or construction hauling experience preferred. Knowledge of safe loading, hauling, dumping, and job-site procedures. Ability to work safely around active construction equipment and traffic. Dependable, punctual, professional, and able to follow instructions. Must satisfy applicable DOT and company requirements for the position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a field-based position involving active paving and construction sites. Drivers should be prepared for outdoor work, changing weather conditions, construction traffic, early start times, and schedules that may vary based on projects and operational needs.
