A.We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and refrigerated trailers, to deliver goods efficiently and on time. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations while providing excellent service to our clients. Duties Operate different types of trucks including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and flatbeds for the transportation of goods. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of cargo transported. Navigate routes effectively while adhering to delivery schedules. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays during transport. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while on the road and at loading/unloading sites. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL A (Commercial Driver's License). Proficiency in operating various truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles effectively. Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving. Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS systems. Capability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients.
