Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take the wheel of a versatile fleet dedicated to delivering essential equipment across the Tri-State area. This role offers the opportunity to operate various types of trucks and trailers, including lowboy, landoll, flatbed, heavy wrecker, and specialized equipment, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise will keep our operations moving smoothly while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including lowboy, landoll, and flatbed over local and multi-state moves Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries Load and unload machinery and material, ensuring proper handling of cargo Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety Secure cargo properly during transit Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any route or cargo issues promptly Requirements Valid CDL A license; experience operating tractor-trailers with a manual transmission preferred but not necessary Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and general machine operation Ability to handle manual handling tasks related to truck loading/unloading and cargo handling safely and efficiently Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time navigation adjustments Experience working with flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or other specialized equipment is a plus Join us as a CDL A Truck Driver and become an integral part of our team!
