Description

The New Jersey Route Driver is responsible for providing efficient and safe delivery of boxes to our customers within the NJ Area. A driver operates a refrigerated truck and also operates a hand truck to assist when making deliveries. Our drivers deliver orders to the appropriate destination within a scheduled time. They are expected to provide professional customer service and timely reporting to supervisors and assigned dispatchers regarding lateness, damaged or missing products.

Responsibilities and Working Conditions:
  • Provide an efficient and safe delivery of boxes to our depots within the NJ area Operates a refrigerated truck and also operates a hand truck to assist when making deliveries
  • Deliver orders to the appropriate destination within a scheduled time
  • Provide professional customer service
  • Provide timely reporting to supervisors and assigned dispatchers regarding lateness, damaged or missing products
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • In a workday: standing/walking 6-10 hours or more
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
  • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals, loud noises, flashing lights
