Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including flatbed, tractor-trailer, and tanker vehicles, to deliver goods to our clients. This role requires adherence to all safety regulations and a commitment to providing excellent service during deliveries. Duties Operate commercial vehicles including flatbed trucks, tractor-trailers, and tankers. Safely load and unload cargo using forklifts and manual handling techniques. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status. Handle refrigerated trailers as needed for temperature-sensitive cargo. Operate manual transmission vehicles when required. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type. Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations. Experience operating flatbed trucks, tractor-trailers, tankers, and refrigerated trailers is preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and perform loading/unloading tasks safely. Strong navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS technology. Excellent time management skills with a commitment to punctuality in deliveries. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. A clean driving record with no major violations is preferred.
