As a specialized CDL Driver, you will play a vital role in our port drayage network, safely moving high-value, hazardous, and non-hazardous freight between the NY/NJ Ports and regional warehouses.
Smooth Operations:
Coordinate directly with dispatch, utilizing a company-provided iPad to seamlessly receive, track, and complete your orders electronically.
Safe Execution:
Navigate local routes with precision, safely handling tractor-trailers, chassis, and specialized equipment (including tankers or refrigerated units).
Professional Care:
Manage port compliance, secure cargo, verify load documentation, and obtain electronic signatures upon delivery.
Safety First:
Maintain exact electronic logs of working hours and truck safety, ensuring full compliance with state and federal DOT regulations. What You Bring to the Team We look for professionals who take safety, punctuality, and compliance seriously. To qualify for this premium fleet, you must have:
Credentials:
Valid Class A CDL, active Hazmat Endorsement, and a TWIC card (Sealink card a plus).
Experience:
Proven experience driving tractor-trailers, maneuvering chassis, and a strong track record in local route driving or port drayage.
Versatility:
Proficient in operating either manual or automatic transmissions, with familiarity handling specialized equipment like tankers or reefers.
