This role involves transporting flatbed loads across designated regional routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in flatbed trucking, demonstrating strong driving skills, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent route management. As a key member of our logistics operations, the Regional Flatbed Driver will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to reliable service and customer satisfaction. Duties Safely operate flatbed trucks across regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues. Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with regulatory standards. Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road. Ensure cargo is handled with care and delivered in excellent condition to clients or distribution centers. Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times to promote a safe working environment. Skills Minimum of two years of experience as a flatbed driver or in a similar trucking role. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for flatbed operation. Strong knowledge of regional routes, traffic laws, and safety regulations related to flatbed transportation. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and precision. Ability to secure loads properly and handle equipment safely. Good communication skills for effective coordination with dispatch and clients. Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues when necessary.
