This position supports accurate and timely deliveries, proper material handling, vehicle readiness, warehouse organization, and compliance with all applicable safety and driving requirements. The Truck Driver works closely with Project Management, Operations, Field Leadership, technicians, warehouse personnel, vendors, and suppliers to ensure materials are delivered safely, accurately, and according to project needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Pick-Up & Delivery- Safely load, transport, and unload HVAC equipment, supplies, materials, and parts to and from job sites, vendors, warehouses, and suppliers.
- Verify orders against packing slips or purchase orders for accuracy before delivery or pickup.
- Coordinate timely deliveries based on project and operational needs.
- Ensure delivery paperwork is properly signed, completed, and documented. Vehicle Operation & Maintenance
- Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, vans, or pickup trucks, in accordance with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean, safe, and road-ready condition.
- Company vehicles are provided for company-related pickups and deliveries only. Employees are responsible for using their personal vehicle for transportation to and from work. Job Site Coordination
- Communicate effectively with project managers, foremen, technicians, and other team members to coordinate material deliveries.
- Coordinate with job-site personnel to confirm delivery locations, timing, and material-handling requirements.
- Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers, vendors, suppliers, and job-site personnel. Warehouse Support
- Assist with organizing inventory, staging orders, and maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse and vehicle fleet.
- Assist with material returns, exchanges, and urgent deliveries as needed.
- Help maintain orderly storage and safe handling of HVAC materials and equipment. Safety & Compliance
- Follow all traffic laws and practice safe loading, unloading, lifting, and material-handling techniques.
- Adhere to OSHA guidelines and all company safety policies and procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions, vehicle concerns, accidents, damage, or delivery discrepancies promptly. Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the Company and its insurance requirements.
- Experience with material handling and the safe loading, unloading, and transport of equipment and supplies.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles used for deliveries and pickups.
- Ability to accurately verify quantities, packing slips, purchase orders, and delivery paperwork.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, foremen, technicians, vendors, suppliers, and other team members.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is required as a condition of employment. Preferred Experience
- Previous delivery, warehouse, material-handling, construction, or HVAC industry experience.
- Experience operating box trucks, vans, or pickup trucks in a commercial work environment.
- Familiarity with HVAC equipment, materials, supplies, or construction job-site environments. Key Performance Expectations
- Safe and timely completion of assigned pickups and deliveries.
- Accurate verification of materials, quantities, and delivery documentation.
- Consistent care and proper handling of company vehicles, tools, equipment, and materials.
- Prompt communication of delivery issues, shortages, discrepancies, or vehicle concerns.
- Reliable coordination with Operations, Project Management, Field Leadership, and warehouse personnel.
- Consistent compliance with DOT, OSHA, traffic, and company safety requirements. Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to safely load, unload, lift, carry, and move HVAC materials, equipment, supplies, and parts as required by the position.
- Ability to enter and exit commercial vehicles repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in warehouse, outdoor, and active construction-site environments and in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely access job sites and delivery areas.

- $24.00-26.00 per hour.
- Compensation is paid in accordance with Worthing Air's standard payroll practices. Benefits

(1) week prorated to start date after 90 probationary period. Effective January 2027: (2) weeks vacation.- Six paid holidays.
