The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. Experience with commercial driving, particularly with box trucks, is essential. Responsibilities Safely operate a truck to transport goods between locations. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Follow designated routes and schedules for timely deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery sites. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Handle heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, including knowledge of load and unload procedures. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 80 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day. Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
