This role involves occasional operation of a van or shuttle vehicle as business needs arise. Candidates are not required to hold a CDL or DOT certification, though a pristine motor vehicle record is mandatory. All applicants must successfully complete a drug screening process. Our facility manages specialized storage units known as Dewars, which house laboratory specimens for major partners like Novartis and Kite. Novartis utilizes these for bio-engineered cancer treatments. Please note that no live specimens are handled on-site; we strictly manage the vessels themselves. These containers vary in weight, with smaller units averaging 30 pounds and larger ones remaining under 50 pounds, as they are processed for nationwide distribution. Technical Requirements Possess solid computer literacy, specifically with MS Office and basic Excel proficiency, to ensure accurate data entry for every transaction. Daily Responsibilities Manage incoming inventory by scanning items into our tracking system and verifying database entries to help maintain precise records. Sanitize storage vessels thoroughly after use to ensure they remain in optimal condition. Update item logs using MS Office and Excel to support efficient inventory management. Prepare outgoing shipments by scanning products, generating necessary reports, and creating shipping labels. Ensure all outgoing packages are properly equipped with tracking devices and required accessories to facilitate reliable delivery.
