This is a non-local driving position involving travel across multiple states and extended time on the road. No CDL is required for this position, provided the driver is legally qualified to operate the assigned vehicle. Responsibilities Safely operate a 26-foot box truck on interstate and long-distance routes Pick up and deliver freight on schedule Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and route updates Maintain required delivery paperwork and documentation Keep the truck clean and properly maintained Follow DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures Properly secure freight before transportation Requirements Valid U.S. driver's license Experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred Comfortable with OTR/non-local travel and being away from home Safe driving record Dependable and punctual Able to communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Able to load/unload or assist with freight when required Must meet any applicable DOT driver and medical requirements Schedule Full-time Over-the-road / interstate routes This is not a local daily-return position Schedule and time on the road will vary depending on assigned loads Compensation Pay will be discussed during the interview and will depend on experience, availability, and route requirements.
