The Driver will be responsible for safely picking up, transporting, and delivering windshields, auto glass, tools, equipment, and other materials to our customers, technicians, and job sites. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and understands the importance of handling auto glass carefully to prevent damage. This position requires strong attention to detail, punctuality, safe driving habits, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver windshields, auto glass, parts, tools, and supplies. Deliver auto glass and materials to customers, technicians, dealerships, body shops, and job sites promptly. Carefully load, secure, transport, and unload windshields and other glass products to prevent damage. Inspect glass and materials before delivery to ensure the correct products are being transported. Communicate with the office, dispatchers, technicians, and customers regarding delivery and pickup schedules. Assist technicians with transporting tools, equipment, and materials to and from job locations when needed. Pick up damaged, returned, or unused glass and materials from job sites and customers. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe company vehicle. Perform basic daily vehicle safety checks, including tires, lights, mirrors, fluids, and overall vehicle condition. Keep accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage, and vehicle-related information. Obtain signatures or delivery confirmations when required. Provide professional and courteous customer service at every delivery or pickup. Follow all company safety policies and procedures while handling and transporting glass. Report damaged glass, vehicle issues, delivery problems, or other concerns to management promptly. Follow all applicable traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record. Assist with general shop duties and organization when delivery work is slow. Skills Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record. Ability to safely handle and transport windshields and automotive glass. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify the correct glass and materials for each job. Good knowledge of local roads and ability to use GPS/navigation systems. Excellent time-management and organizational skills. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift, carry, and safely move auto glass and equipment. Must be comfortable working in different weather conditions and traveling to various job sites. Previous experience with auto glass, automotive repair, or mobile service businesses is a plus.
