Job Description

Position Overview Our client is seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and hardworking Non-CDL Driver to join our team. This individual will be responsible for transporting flooring materials and other products throughout New Jersey and neighboring states using a company-owned small box truck. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable of handling material deliveries, and committed to providing timely and professional service. This role is critical to our daily operations and requires someone who takes pride in safe driving practices, punctuality, and exceptional reliability.

7:30-5:00 Monday through Thursday 7:30 to 1:00 Friday Responsibilities Safely operate a company-owned small box truck for local and regional deliveries. Pick up, transport, and deliver products to customers and company locations in a timely manner. Load and unload hardwood flooring bundles, buckets of finish, adhesives, and other flooring materials. Perform take-in deliveries and ensure products are handled with care and delivered accurately. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle. Verify delivery paperwork and product counts before and after deliveries. Follow established delivery schedules and communicate any delays or issues promptly. Assist with basic warehouse, inventory, and material handling responsibilities as needed. Adhere to all company safety policies and DOT regulations. Qualifications Valid driver's license (CDL is not required). Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required, as the truck regularly crosses state lines. Clean driving record with a demonstrated history of safe driving habits. Must be comfortable and experienced driving a manual transmission (stick shift) vehicle. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying hardwood flooring bundles, buckets of finish, adhesives, and other flooring materials. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds, individually or with proper lifting equipment and team assistance when necessary. Dependable and punctual attendance is essential, as this position plays a critical role in our daily operations. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Comfortable using GPS navigation and mobile communication devices. Preferred Qualifications Previous delivery driving experience. Previous warehouse or material handling experience. Experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles. Familiarity with local and regional delivery routes throughout New Jersey and neighboring states. Compensation The published salary range is intended to provide flexibility based on experience, education, and demonstrated operational leadership capabilities. Compensation will be competitive with market standards and aligned with the candidate's background.
