The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. At RWJBarnabas Health, reliable transportation and distribution help keep our hospitals supplied with the medications, products, and materials they need to support patient care. As a Driver, you'll be responsible for timely deliveries and pickups between RWJBarnabas Health hospitals while ensuring items are transported safely, accurately, and according to established procedures. You'll also support warehouse operations as needed, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road while contributing to a fast-paced healthcare operation. In this role, you'll be: Completing scheduled deliveries and pickups to and from RWJBarnabas Health hospitals safely and on time.

Picking up code trays and other designated items from hospital locations.

Delivering TPN, Repack, IV Prep, and 609 centralized warehouse items to hospitals.

Packing TPNs in coolers and loading vehicles with all items required for scheduled deliveries.

Verifying delivery paperwork is completed, signed, and returned correctly.

Tracking completed deliveries and preparing required monthly reporting.

Maintaining the cleanliness of company vehicles and coordinating routine maintenance and car washes as needed.

Using appropriate PPE when handling returned items and following established safety procedures.

Supporting warehouse and distribution operations between deliveries or as needed.

Cleaning coolers, disposing of cardboard, and helping maintain an organized warehouse environment.

Communicating professionally with hospital staff and coworkers while responding to changing delivery needs.

Performing additional duties as assigned or directed by management.

You communicate clearly and professionally with hospital staff, warehouse team members, and coworkers.

You are comfortable following delivery documentation, safety procedures, and established warehouse protocols.

You are willing to cross-train and assist with warehouse and distribution responsibilities when needed.

You can troubleshoot equipment within the scope of your responsibilities and are comfortable learning required systems and processes. To be considered for this position, candidates must be a high school graduate, possess a valid Jersey driver's license, and have previous driving experience. Candidates should demonstrate safe driving practices, situational awareness, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment and navigate challenging road and weather conditions. An understanding of warehousing and distribution operations, OSHA regulations, hazardous materials handling, and general warehouse protocols is important for the position. Previous medical delivery experience is preferred.
