The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely within designated routes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight. As a Local Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of service. Duties Operate and drive commercial vehicles. Navigate assigned routes effectively while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during routes. Ensure the safe handling of freight to prevent damage during transport. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in truck driving atleast 18 months is must. Familiarity with route driving and local roadways to optimize delivery efficiency. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
